Casting: How to Maintain Perfect Character Consistency
Casting: How to Maintain Perfect Character Consistency
In traditional filmmaking, you hire an actor. In AI filmmaking, you must teach the engine who your actor is. Here is how you maintain absolute consistency across a 100-shot short film.
Step 1: The Headshot (The Anchor)
Your reference image is your actor's headshot. Use SeeDream 4.5 to generate the perfect character. Ensure the lighting is neutral and the face is clearly visible.
Step 2: The "Casting" Prompt
When using Seedance 2.0 for video, your prompt must describe the character exactly as they appear in the reference image, while adding the new action and environment.
Example: "Close-up tracking shot, [The exact description of the woman in your reference image] walking confidently through a neon-lit Tokyo alley..."
Step 3: Iterate and Direct
Treat the AI like an actor. If the first take isn't quite right, adjust the prompt (your direction) slightly and 'roll camera' again.
